Clear air and good climate For our region.
Take a deep breath – not only our production and our ZERO CARBON LITHIUM™ are CO2-neutral, but also the heat and electricity that we feed into the surrounding networks. We are thus making an active contribution to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions in the e-vehicle industry and increasing the overall share of renewable energies in the regional network: a concrete contribution to achieving climate protection targets at regional level.
Safety For the region.
Particularly in times of growing ecological and economic crises, economic independence and therefore safety is essential. The economic strength of our region, our jobs and our energy supply must be preserved. Our project creates the basis for sustainable, regional value creation. With our project, we not only stand for securing regional value creation, but also for the safety of the project. All partners work with state-of-the-art technology and thus guarantee the highest safety standards.
From the "Ländle" For the “Ländle”.
Germany is Europe’s automotive country and Baden-Württemberg is the motor and driver of the automotive industry. Neighbors, friends and relatives work in the Upper Rhine Graben region and beyond for established companies, technology leaders and hidden champions in the industry. In key technologies such as battery cell production, large parts of the value chain are already represented in the region. With our CO2-neutral lithium – made in the Upper Rhine region – we are completing this regional value chain in battery production.
Forward together: For a successful transport and energy transition.
The transition to a sustainable energy supply is in full swing and climate neutrality is now a priority goal for many municipalities. With our project, we want to make the Ortenau region a climate pioneer in these two areas and our region a competence center for the transport and energy transition – so that we can not only strengthen our economy now, but also provide our region with future-oriented education and training in the long term.
